So I tried Yupo for the first time lately. Very interesting- like painting on plastic! And if you don't like the outcome- you can just wash it off and start over! Very refreshing! Here was my first playing around wish some cherry blossoms. I didn't like the bottom half- so just washed it off and simplified. Which one do you like better- version one or two? :) I am thinking this paper may be more suited to abstract work rather than representational! What is one to do while quarantined? Why, take an online workshop!!! Benefits- you don't need to fly to a distant location or spend a fortune, and it can be done in your pj's even!
This was a great 4 hours spent last week with Sarah Yeoman and French Escapades. We made small notan landscapes freehand, did a value study of a Tuscan arbor, and then did a color version of the arbor. I love how they turned out!!! |
AuthorLearning new skills and passions is one of life's greatest joys! I am thrilled to be expanding my artistic repertoire, with my favorite subjects including landscapes and animals, and more recently abstracts. Archives
